Dr. Asha George-Guiser

Dr. Asha George-Guiser is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her doctorate of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Eastern Baptist Seminary in 1994. She received her post-graduate training at the Council for Relationships and is a clinical member of AAMFT (Association of American Marriage and Family Therapy).

She has been in practice for over 35 years, providing counseling and therapy for individuals, families and couples. Her areas of expertise include intimacy and relationship–building, cross–cultural relationships, and integrating Christian spiritual and emotional issues.

Dr. George-Guiser also provides spiritual direction and leadership coaching for those seeking direction, meaning, and recovery from work crisis.

Asha George-Guiser is an experienced speaker and trainer. She has presented to numerous groups on topics such as: work and career concerns, anger management, separation and divorce, blended families, and conflict resolution.

She is an Episcopal priest and integrates spirituality and psychology into her practice.
